Brian Schwartz is the Chief Executive Officer of H.I.G. Capital. As CEO, Brian sets the firm's strategic direction, guiding investment priorities and long-term growth across H.I.G.'s global, multi-strategy platform, in addition to serving on the firm’s Executive Committee.

Since joining H.I.G. in 1994, Brian has held senior leadership roles across the firm’s Private Equity, Credit, and Real Assets platforms, playing a central role in the firm’s growth over three decades. Before assuming the role of CEO, Brian served as Co-President for six years, directing day-to-day operations and sitting on the investment committees for all H.I.G. funds.

Earlier in his career, Brian held roles in strategic planning at PepsiCo and investment banking at Dillon, Read & Co.

He holds a B.S., with honors, from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
