Thiago Miskulin Managing Director

Thiago is a Managing Director based in H.I.G. Capital’s Rio de Janeiro office. He is involved in all aspects of the investment process, including deal sourcing, transaction structuring and negotiation, financing, and execution of post-closing growth and operational strategies.

Prior to joining H.I.G., Thiago worked as a private equity investment professional for Mubadala Capital, GP Investments and Permira. He currently serves as a board member at Nadir Figueiredo, Tecfil and Life Agro, and served previously on the boards of directors of Elekeiroz, Centauro, Tempo Assist and Porto Sudeste. Earlier in his career he worked at The Boston Consulting Group (BCG)’s São Paulo and London offices, and for J.P. Morgan in London.

Thiago holds an M.B.A. from Stanford Graduate School of Business, a Master of Science in Engineering from École Centrale de Lyon, and a B.Eng. in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP, with honors. He is also a CFA Charterholder. Thiago is fluent in Portuguese, English and French.
